One of my 4 best friends from uni just had a baby

This should make me happy but really it made me sad. I really only had 1 social circle with us 5 guys, but I lost contact with this one soon after graduating since he moved back to Japan, but he posted him holding his newborn baby on IG with his cute Japanese wife. He was slaying all ethnicities of girls in uni so this didn’t come as a surprise, but it highlights how big of a failure I’ve always been. So really, not a good week for my mental health as you know already.

I used to have a tight group of friends and we had some great adventures together. My autism and neurosis haven’t fully kicked in until I graduated.

My son also has autism but he is high functioning. He put in the work and graduated University and has a great job now with the Government.

Don't give up....be proactive.

Don’t want to talk about my work for privacy and insecurity reasons but there’s little social interaction and it’s not a place to make friends or girls. Outside of work not much. I have a dog that I walk twice a day, sometimes more and it makes me more approachable but haven’t met any friends or girls intimately that way. I go to the driving range by myself like once a week but haven’t met any friends at the golf course. That’s pretty much it lol. Spend the rest of my time miscing I guess when I’m not banned.

Thank you sir and you’re probably right. I’m high functioning too and have an ok job, but nothing even close to what I dreamed about when I was in uni. How does he fare in the social and gf departments?
