Rate OMAD meal [pic]

500 grams of bone-in skin-on chicken thighs.

1 packet of Lidl's own brand Uncle Bens knock off.

Homemade mayo with EVOO, garlic salt.

Just about 3 USD including condiments.

Eat straight from the tray and bin the foil after.

Could be cheaper even and fresh rice-cooker rice can be better but too busy with interviews SRS.

Do the thighs for 30 mins. Create a makeshift pourer from the foil at one of the edges, pour out water/grease.

Then squeeze out the rice pouch on the side and put it in the oven to heat up for 3 min at a lower temperature.

Yeah, my flatmate is going back to Korea for 2 weeks and left me with some high quality truffle salt.

I do swap out homemade mayo for stuff like Nando's sauce (comes in a bottle), Tabasco (I like it on the rice mostly) etc.

Just want to keep the sugar low so I avoid ketchup, BBQ sauce etc.

When I make bone in skin on thighs I usually just use a little EVOO on them then salt and pepper before cooking and that usually is good enough for me. I don't really use condiments often. Overall your meal looks really tasty.

oven baking the chicken, the rice comes in uncle bens pack cooked so you just need to reheat. I do not microwave I just put it next to the chicken for 3 mins as it finishes. I do not microwave or heat up stuff in plastic.

EVOO is not needed for thighs with skin. That is why it is the Chad and breast is Timmy.

Also, this is perfectly fine. I just couldn't find time to grab a bag of frozen broc.

Those would go in with the rice and increase from 3 min to 5 min.

Rice wont overcook because the cold from the frozen broc will keep the temperature down and it will even become puffier from the extra water from broc
