SCOTUS oral argument for the Fischer case/ today at 10am

This audio will be here

https://www.supremecourt.gov/oral_arguments/live.aspx

This is the case that could possible free over 100 Jan 6th defendants / as well potentially drop two of Trump's DC charges.

The decision would be expected in June.

Wow... a discussion in government where everyone seems intelligent and I am having some trouble keeping up... I wish this was a more regular thing. Normally just facepalming over how ****ing stupid everyone involved is.

Listing to SCOTUS oral arguments can get addictive

After this one is over - listen to this - for at least 25 min

https://www.supremecourt.gov/oral_ar...io/2023/22-340

And then never fail English again

Ugh, get to hear this high level discussion - and immediately this low IQ nerf comes in and can't even quote the right date for when the riot took place lul.

Yeah man, I'm dead serious - this is literally the first time I've heard a discussion taking place amongst government officials that sounded like every person involved has an above average IQ.

Honestly / don't think the oral arguments here are going to sway the court at all- this is going to be based solely on the written briefs

Lol I thought the same thing.

When you say that none of this is going to matter - what do you think the outcome will be? Don't know anything about the written briefs.

Defendant dude wins - they will have to let out a buch of Jan6tb prisoners - there maybe a slight awkward logistic path for them to get it though

Fischer wins this imo

Her whole argument seems to be based on some rather unique interpretation of obstruction.

Wasn't Thomas' wife one of orchestrator's behind the scenes for Jan 6th? Not a conflict of interest here at all right?

It's clear where everyone stands now except Barrett and Kavanaugh.

People were unjustly imprisoned just for being in the vicinity. Some of these people were held in isolation with zero contact.

When these people are released due to improper detainment- how does that not change your view? You have to know how ridiculous you sound parroting leftist MSM words when its already understood the definition of insurrection does not meet the event. I guess that's the idea of the left, to change definitions like its fluid (example: recession)

Lmao demonstrations vs trying to interfere with the electoral process with the intent to change the outcome of the election. Pls stop.
