I think she's an illegal, I could help her with that.

She's mighty fine, barely speaks a word of English but I always go in there and get 6 won tons and sweet and sour sauce just to gaze on Chinese HBB

I thought she got deported because a whole bunch of them all vanished from that shop but she came back after a couple of weeks.

You have to approach this very cautiously but I think you are on the right track scoping her out.

She may already have a path to citizenship, she is probably very family oriented with few friends and is nervous around new people.

You shouldn't dangle your status as an American, dress in a way that you think her family would find presentable, never go there with a woman, tip her every time but only her, start making small talk to get her to open up over a long period of time but don't appear to want her. Notice how she gets more comfortable with you over time and then start to show interest subtly, eye contact but not to heavy, grazing her hand just right as you tip her and complimented her very lightly once you feel she is comfortable.
