Wow this should be incredible for all of the amazing video games that have been pushing today's consoles to the max! There has been such a steady stream of exclusives for the PS5, no doubt we will have no shortage of games to take advantage of it right away.

Sweet, can't wait to pay for pro versions of tranny remakes for a 5fps boost and some extra raytracing reflections.

Great news for those with high end TV's who are tired of the compromises to get 60fps. It's been so bad for me with the recent games I've played. Day 1.

These companies are releasing more hardware in proportion to the amount of games coming out. The extra rub is how the currently available hardwarecouldrun a larger number of games at acceptable performance if Sony and MS had the balls to clamp down on the slop that publishers call passable.

It's only a matter of when, not if, the only way to reach the originally advertised performance metrics they were boasting about before launch is to buy a whole new console outside of a handful of bespoke titles, and then we'll be back to square one with the PS6/Xbox Streaming Stick Series Squared.

We're pretty much at the point in gaming where the only people who care about graphics are Sonycels, and virgin nerds(Which is pretty much what a sonycel is). Nice to have a game that looks nice but gameplay and "Fun" factor is what really matters.

True. Hardware advancement went from making massive generational leaps to marginal improvements. It's like "oh wow, the lighting looks slightly better and they got it to run slightly faster in 4K." It's hard to get excited about graphics anymore, heck I can go back and play old 360 titles with things like 4K enhancement or 60fps boost and still think they look great. Gaming tech has really plateaued. Most people getting excited about it are just nerds trying to score e-points.
