My kids are going under today to get tubes in ears

It’s necessary b y I’m nervous af about them going under. We’re with them when they go under and I know they’ll be scared. Prayers and thoughts appreciated; I’m gonna be pacing like a maniac brahs

Stupid. They are clogged up from cow dairy and bread. The tube doesn’t solve sheit. Will fall out soon anyway. And has possible side effects.

Op, some children experience drastic behavior changes after a tympanostomy. Changes in auditory perception, pain, lingering effects of anesthesia cause chaos on their little systems as a result some children start exhibiting terrible behavior (screaming/fit-throwing etc) and experiencing sleep disturbances, nightmares and bed-wetting

The word surgery makes it seem scary but in reality it's stupidly simple. For adults they dont even put you under. It's a super low risk procedure that can increase quality of life exponentially for both child and parents

Price demonstrated a long time ago that with correct nutrition there is no need for braces and amazingly the people with the healthiest teeth never even brushed, same thing with glasses, it’s things like vitamin deficiencies, malnutrition of the pregnant mother, and staring at a computer screen from close distance without protective glasses is what causes poor vision.

The tube is only reasonable if a person is recovering from head and neck radiation which scars over the tube and the tube is gone, which causes sinus issues with pressure. It’s literally the only possible scenario where the tube is reasonable to put in. And even there, it’s best to wait 2-3 years to see if inflammation comes down and patient can do without the tube procedure.

The tubes are to drain liquid from behind the tympanic membrane which causes pain and other issues. The tubes are temporary and the procedure is minimally invasive. BRB telling my kid to wait 2-3 years so that maybe the pain will go away.

Maybe you're thinking of something else? Some other procedure?

“Tube” in ear always means Eustachian tube. It’s always blocked from dairy and allergies, or scarred completely shut by radiation treatment.

We really gotta stop with all this bullsheit like cutting off penis skin, adenoid and tonsils, tubes in ears, they still cut off female pussies in parts of the world, come on, evolve. Always 40 years goes by until society recognizes that those are mistakes and should have been left alone or dealt with differently in more natural ways.

Letting the body do its thing naturally, I support, but... We live in such an unnatural world (Food, air, etc) that sometimes certain things are medically necessary.


I had tubes put in as a kid, they fell out ages ago but I still get ear infections on a monthly basis despite being massively in shape.
