He’s lying it’s not more famous than cricket but in North India there is a sport
Called Kabbadi which is quite popular and it has roots based on homosexuality (srs) - you’ll see grown men slapping each other and fuking each other after matches - has similarities to Greek Roman wrestling. Ultimately a gay sport for gay Indians in Punjab region.

Maybe in some remote mountain range-nothing is more important than Cricket in India. Tendulkar's retirement basically turned into a national holiday & circus that was hyped beyond anything you can imagine for weeks.

It looks like a sport which evolved in communities with such extreme poverty that they couldn't afford a ball.
