- I order online, I enter the coupon code it reflects the price where you check out , and select pay at store

- I get there to pay and get the pizza: the casier( Indian man ) says I need a coupon for this :

I pull up the online post of the coupon and I say it doesn't say anything about needing a coupon...there or on the website. Why would there be an advertisement for that if you need a coupon?
I said I usually ordered in the past and entered coupon codes and never needed a physical coupon

He insists I need it..I politely tell him I'll have to pass then because it doesn't say anything about needing a coupon...and went and got some great burgers from a local place instead

Nah, you weren't in the wrong if you applied the coupon code when you submitted your order. Corporate and Franchise locations tend to operate differently too.

But the one I go to will find the coupon and apply it for me if I ask or describe it well enough.

Sounds like they were just penny pinching.
