The worst generic advice I've heard is that "the one for you will just stumble into your life when you least expect it" suggesting you don't need to actively seek them out. I know an incel who is convinced he doesn't need to go out or use dating apps because she will just, idk, come crashing through his roof one day. Dude is like 31 now with a bodycount of 1 and lonely af

The main thing that blows my mind when it comes to dating advice is how often the following fundamental is overlooked:

BE.MORE.OUTGOING / SOCIAL.

That is most people’s no.1 dating problem right there.
