According to this guy, Fletcher Prouty who was Chief of Special Operations for the Joint Chiefs of Staff under President John F. Kennedy it was all a scam to keep prices high

Sounds a little out there to me but who knows anymore, if it was so scarce then of course oil companies would be the first to work on some kind of easily available alternative they could milk for decades more

Yeah the whole "fossil fuels" thing was an absolute lie, and oil has never come from "buried dinosaurs".




The real question is if oil is a renewable resource from the earth, and not a limited supply, like some people want us to believe.

It's buried plankton, but that doesn't mean it's not a fossil fuel. It is renewable, but it's being made A LOT more slowly than it's being consumed.
