Why is Jamie Dimon held up as some kind of guru?

I keeps seeing interviews with him about not just banking, but the entire state of the US economy and even delving into domestic and international politics.

For example in this interview he talks about the wars in Gaza and Ukraine

What gives him the credibility to make these predictions? His only major achievement I can see is navigating JPM through the GFC, which probably isn't even his achievement since he took the top job in 2006. Is he just another hedge-fund type who is pretty smart with money and believes that makes him a genius in all areas?
