Dealing with loss
So it's been a while since I lost my grandad. He raised me for clarification from a baby. I still see jokes, news headline and movies that I want to show him. Every night I have those bittersweet dreams in which we chill and then I wake up and he's gone. How do you deal with this?

I am sorry for your loss
Keep him alive in your memory, honor his legacy
Not much you can do except your best in life going forward
What would he wanted for you?

You never get over it. You just learn to cope and remember the good things.
My Mom passed away in 1999 and my Dad 3 years ago. I still have dreams about them and they are still alive.
My son's best friend was my Dad. He still won't talk about him.
My sister and her husband lost my nephew to cancer when he was 14. I cant even imagine losing a child.

The loved ones live on forever in your hearts.
Nothing can ever take away a love your heart holds dear.
Those who touch your lives, stay in your hearts forever.
Greatly loved, deeply missed.

My grandad died 8 years before I was born and my grandma died in 06.
All I know about him was he was a good salesman and ironically, my dad was in sales and I'm currently in sales..
My grandma was overseas when she died and I was in complete shock when it happened. The last time I saw her was 2 years before and I was in denial for a long time. I couldn't believe she was gone but have come to terms over time.
I thank God every day both my dad and mom or in complete good health and pray for protection each day.
For your grandad, I'm really sorry for your loss and I hope the best for you and your family.
You might feel lost since your grandfather raised you from childhood and not sure where your parents fit in the picture but I hope and pray that at this point you will look to God for help and guidance through the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Psalms are good place to start then learn about Christ in the New Testament.
Psalm 27:10-14
"When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up.
Teach me thy way, O Lord, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.
Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.
I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord."
