So I got a call today, from a number I didn’t recognize. But it showed the state it was calling from..which was the state I knew my ex moved to. Automatically I assumed it was her, just a had a feeling..she called 2 times and then texted. Then called again.

I answered, it was her..my ex I was with from 19-24..we were each others first loves. She has since gotten married and so on.

We ended up talking for 3 hours..she was basically seeing how I was doing, what I’ve been up to, and she apologized for some of her behavior. She was also somewhat flirtatious.

She told me her and her husband (who is disgusting looking) own two homes together and she has a business and blah blah. Basically everything is going great for her.

This is all 3-4 years after me and her broke up. She was telling me we are always going to be a part of each others story and said she dreamed about me sometimes etc..

At the end of the convo she said maybe we will talk again.

What is the reason behind her calling me all these years later when she’s married and happy? She also told me she will not inform her husband that she called me.
