About 90% of the boards I try and join….. when I post something is automatically deleted by mods a few minutes later

What's really stupid is someone can post something there, and it comes up in a search, but "hasn't been reviewed yet", so you're not even allowed to read it until their mods deem it ok.

I got permanently banned from a subreddit themed on creative writing and fictional anthropology and culture.


Why? I was describing a fictional culture I made that lived underground because the surface was rocky and volcanic with a toxic atmosphere. A poster asked me "What do they eat?" and I jokingly replied " Your mum's pussy" and I was permabanned.

I mean, I think constant bashing and attacking of posters is lame and it ruins forums, but giving someone a permaban for that is just ridiculous.

There are definitely some strict rules and outline requirements for certain subs. More often than not it takes a few tries to end up with in the guidelines

New accounts dont have much 'karma' so you have to go around commenting on other posts and echo the hive mind with those comments to build up your karma, then you can usually create a topic that isn't deleted.

The dumbest thing about it is how you can't reply after 6 months or however long it is.

There's probably posts here on Misc from like 2002 where you could still reply to it if you wanted to add to the discussion or ask a question. This is basic chit across the whole internet, but seemingly not on Reddit.

i left the day they banned the_donald. Even before that you had a bunch of censorship, mods on the standard subs were obviously all ugly lesbians and cucks. The way /politics changed from pro-bernie to pro-hilary from practically one day to the next was surreal.

Anyway, when t_d was banned, that's when I knew any semblance of free speech was done. All balanced, rational people left, which is why it is the liberal dumpster fire it is now.
