We need a single mother's day

We have so many single moms out there now I think it deserves it's own separate day. Mother's Day should be reserved for the one's with enough self-respect to raise a family properly and honored as such. Single mothers should not receive any recognition on mother's day. In many ways they are failed mothers who couldn't raise her offspring properly by maintaining a relationship with a suitable mate.

It bothers me that single mothers try to celebrate on the same day as real mothers.
