Are you aware of the Katyn massacre?

In 1940, the Russians mass executed 22,000 Polish POWs. This was blamed on the Germans and the Russians even found Germans to blame and convict of war crimes for said massacre.

After the fall of the Soviet Union, the new Russian government owned up to the hoax.
