1. Inflation/low wages - people less likely to start family since kids are expensive af
2. LGBTQ acceptance - can't have a kid with the same sex
3. Popularity of anime/manga/video games - easier to become a hikikomori, not leave the house and not meet anyone
4. Dating hyperinflation - men less confident in hooking up since not a Chad and women all going for Chads
5. Remote life (work, school, commerce, socializing) - don't need to leave the house, won't meet anyone, no kids. Dating apps fall into this category but no longer actually work due to dating hyperinflation and bots (no kids will be made)
