Is it possible to salvage a first bad date?
After a first bad date, she texted me later thanking me but said there was no connection. Admittedly, I expressed that SWIK (SW I know) recently died + I had a major hangover and I just wasn't in my best element. She wished me the best of luck and said sorry about my ______. I don't usually do this and I am so angry at myself for having a terrible first date. I was uninterested and just mostly out of my element throughout the date. Honestly, it just feels like a brain fog. I felt we had a lot in common but I was so dry and boring during the date. Our text exchanges were great leading up to it too. At this point is it appropriate to engage further or possibly try to ask her for a re-do date or would that be in bad taste? I feel like we had a lot of things in common that we could possibly explore further.
