How did you feel when family died?

Great grandma of 88 is now in a nursing home. Latest stroke took away her ability to use the left side of her body or even sit up in bed, let alone walk. Now, she can’t even keep ANY food down without puking it up. It seems like she’s on her way out..

The women in my family are a sobbing mess but.. I’m not that sad. I love my great grandmother a lot, but all I have is a “damn, this sucks” type of feeling. It makes me feel guilty not feeling or emoting much, but anything else feels performative.
