The men said they're surprised and shaken by the attack, but that they're resilient.

SF mayor calls SFPD to release video in 2023 fatal attack of 63-year-old Chinese woman

Police tell ABC7 News they recently reopened the case because of new evidence. But they won't say what that evidence is.

Just last week, police arrested 43-year-old Thea Hopkins in connection with an assault on a 71-year-old Chinese woman in the Bayview.

Thea Hopkins 'pushes' an Asian lady to the ground causing injuries that led to her death. It was ruled 'accidental'. The police refuse to release the video. Fast forward: Thea Hopkins was just arrested after attacking another Asian lady. After an outcry from the Asian community, the police are forced to reopen the initial case.

It sure is crazy how much Asian hate is still happening but the media isn't really covering it anymore.
