Anyone else grill up sausages and eat them cold

Like I was grilling chicken for wife to make quesadillas for kids while I was working and I just grill a whole pack of Italian sausages then just take bites out of them every time I am hungry.

Ate like the whole pack on one day, only ate one while it was fresh off grill

sausages i'll usually reheat in the microwave, but chicken and beef i prefer to eat cold if it's already been grilled.

Huh no I know it could taste better

But I’m not trying to eat something that tastes good, I’m pretty picky about that.

But it’s better than a slim Jim

I'm real glad you posted a photo of a container showing some partially eaten sausage, otherwise I would have called bull**** in this thread

I usually alternate between eating them hot and cold. The same goes for hotdogs and leftover pizza.

I eat cold meats all the time. Just ate a half a leftover delmonico steak cold and some bby potatos with seasoning on them. Time is money and I'm 100% company so eat while whipping thru spreadsheets so i can make corporate more money.

There’s something wrong about previously grilled hotdogs for me. It’s lost some of its juiciness and the emulsification of it is to solidified when chilled and makes a chewy dry texture. The coarser grind on sausages helps it keep the parts that are still juicy separate and identifiable.

But like cold Smokey’s are cool cuz juicy still!
