why are people ok with 1+ hours commute?

holy ****!

dude at my work takes the first train at 5:15am to get to work before 7am

than afterwork takes him almost 2 hours and 2-3 trains to get home all for a 40k job LOL!

i have no idea how they do it. if i had to work i'd think no more than 15 minutes and that's accounting for traffic....10 minutes in traffic surrounded by workers trying to get where they need as fast as possible can feel like 30 minutes.
