A X2 leveraged ETF that follows the sp500 seems great for a roth 401 K plan

Provided you have the right time horizon of course.

SPUU follows the sp500 very closely without much leveraged decay. Look at how it performed since its inception. The rates of return VASTLY out perform the sp500 with seemingly moderate risk of decay and money loss in the long term. Of course, you can backtrack for the last 50+ years and get similar results.

In fact, I have already put some $$$ into the spuu for my roth 401K. I plan on putting 1K every year until I turn 60 or so. in 30 years when I retire, I hope it works out well and does not decay. It will make me a millionaire if historical trends hold solid and there is no major crash 10 years or less before retirement.

Thoughts?

sounds great until you have a losing year or two and your losses are compounded down. No reason to use leverage for something like a 401k

Also JFL at only putting $1k a year like that’s gonna do anything for you
