Have been reading up on fukked up diseases. Used to think untreated syphilis or ebola was the worst. They would suck but now I think prion diseases are the worst. Kuru disease is pretty easy to avoid as long as you don't cannibalize human brain.... But it would be a fukked up way to go. Basically starts out like Alzheimer's but then you gradually lose your ability to walk, talk, and eat over the course of like 5 years. Eventually you go into a state where you simultaneously laugh and cry for like a year before you die... We currently have a prion disease called "chronic wasting disease" running rampant in North America among wild hoofed animals like deer and elk. It could only be a matter of time before it jumps over to humans if it hasn't already. A lot of prion diseases take like 10+ years before symptoms appear in humans. Animals with chronic wasting disease gradually lose coordination and their fight or flight response. They just walk in circles oblivious to the outside world or do weird chit like jumping and landing on their backs over and over. It's spread through their chit. A deer chits on grass and then another deer eats the grass. Mad cow disease is another prion disease.
