The judge's instructions do the jury today make the verdict 100% locked in as guilty. He isn't even requiring them to agree to what federal crime was committed.



Odds are decent that it gets overturned on appeal. But that isn't likely before the election. And they are absolutely taking him into custody after the verdict. There is no way they setup a show trial just to let him post bond through the appeals process.

So seriously... the RNC in July is going to change the rules and pick someone else now... right? Because even if he wins, there is no legal tool for him to pardon himself of a state crime and get out of prison.

Yes it's a sham. But if Biden wins again because his opponent is in the hoosegow, that isn't going to help anyone.
