"Losing fat and gaining muscle is impossible at the same time"

Nobody in their right mind believes that you can 'convert fat to muscle' - that is impossible.

But, many in the scene insist that you should go through phases:

1) Build muscle (while gaining some fat); and
2) Fat loss (with high protein intake to minimize muscle loss under calorie restriction for fat loss).
