Dealing with stupid gym advice from dyel lifters
Did 665x5 with nice slow essentrics and quite touches to really load the hamstrings to the max. Some pudgy guy who deadlifts 275 came up and asks how I like to train.... Gave a pretty simple answer cause I was gassed but essentially told him I go until my hamstrings dont function anymore in a set. He got all happy and said "my advice would be to do more hamstring curls and dumbbell shrugs." I was like yeah I'd rather do rdl's but thanks. Then he told me he was worried I increase the weight to rapidly and recommended I only increase 10 pounds at a time in my warm ups. I was like dude, I don't have 6 hours to warm up and that would take forever lmao. Thanks bro but it gets super annoying.
