Everything about real estate just pisses me off right now.

-My rent in San Diego is $2800/mo and going up. I'm actually rent-controlled below market value right now, but it's going to catch up probably this year or next, so it's time to look to buy.
-I find a condo. 580 sq ft, in a pretty decent white and Asian neighborhood.
-List price is around $500k, payments would be $3500/mo. Fuk.
-But my rent will be there in a couple years, so....

-I contact a realtor asking for a tour.
-Text back instantly. "When can you meet. Would you like to see other properties? Would you like financing?" Look, I know you guys just want your phuckin vig, but chill out.
-I tell the realtor I'll be there at 5PM.

-Roll into the parking lot at 4:55. Text messages on my phone. "We're here, where are you?" Look, I like being punctual too, but save the panicky texts until I'm actually late.
-Realtor is a 50yo cakeface Hispanic.
-Also there with some female relative who I'd never heard of.
-She shows me the condo in literally 5 mins. It's a 580 sq ft 1-bed. There's nothing to see. It's a shabby old place that kind of smells like weed.

-"So, do you have financing?" No. "My brother does financing, he could set you up."
-"You should get a loan approved soon, I have a lot of interest on this." Bish, this has spent 2 months on the MLS, I know it's not going anywhere. I also know there's another unit in this complex that's spent 2 months on the MLS. I've got time.

-"Is there any other properties you'd like to see?" No, this one's a little small, but it's all I can afford. "Well, if you want a second bedroom, you'll have to leave the state." That's true and I hate it. FML.

-"All right, buh bye then." Door open to door close, I have spent 7 minutes with you, and sent you 5 text messages. If this unit sells, you will get more commission from this than I earn working 40 hour weeks for a month. You phucking parasite.
