Any miscers know anything about the husky dog breed?

Considering adopting one but from what I gather, they are an extremely difficult breed to train.

True or just people being jackholes?

My dog was a husky cross but I had cousins who had true huskies. Very high energy, require a ton of exercise and also need to be trained. They are high prey animals, so forget anything like a cat in the home and they will kill most small animals on sight if they can. Even larger ones (my cousin's huskies killed a sheep once).

Amazing dogs, but a lot of work and require a ton of attention and exercise. My pup when she was young needed two hours of exercise a day. No joke.
