Would it be rude to ask if someone does G4P?

Fitness model I know has a pretty Instagram. He is in great shape but also seems like he travels around and a lot and does cool hobbies. Looks expensive. In wondering if he finances his life with g4p.

Would it be rude to ask? Maybe I could ask with subtlety. Something like “Hey, man. Great physique, what does your routine look like? And do you do G4P?”
