Whatever happened to Kid Rock (musically)

He makes the news for politics (e.g. Bud Light)

But what happened to him musically? I ended up listening to his duet with Sheryl Crow today, called "Picture." And it reminded me that he had some bangers back in the day. There were songs like American Bad ass, Bawitdada, I am the Bulldog, and Cowboy

It turns out that he still makes music today. He released albums in 2022, 2017, and 2015. But I had heard nothing about them
