Been attending some and noticed women talk very surface level, either going "oh I'm just so very grateful bla bla, couldn't do it without yall" or going "I just been struggling cuz bla bla my babys daddy come over and I was like nah ah shiettt" or they make dumb "jokes" that arent even funny.. for example might be reading the AA guidelines and during "we carry this message to other alcoholics" one might chirp "Like a baby!" Or about driving and one goes "voom vroom! (Idk just giving a couple examples wish I could record it to show how cringe it is) Then like a group of hens they all bust out laughing.

Honestly I can see why when AA was first started the wives were told to stay in the kitchen.

yea i remember I went to a party with a girl that liked me in college and blew it because i was trying to have a philosophical conversation with her and it pissed her off. not making that mistake again. only surface level as you said.
