Are women more involved in domestic violance?

Feel like every 3rd guy I know has a lady of his who constantly screams, breaks stuff, manipulates, throws stuff at the guy etc.
All of those are even with couples that are educated and have a decent income.

All the dudes are miserable, but they know they can't do anything about it since people will laugh at them if they call the police. Basically they have to handle their own zoo at home or GTFO from the marriage/ reletionship.

But most dudes just stay.
