electric chargers are powered by fossil fuels

right now anyway, either they're connected to the grid from a power plant using mostly fossil fuels or have a generator connected using fossil fuels

so what is the point?

you like sitting around for an hour instead of 3 minutes refuelling?

not to mention the mining and chemistry needed to make your million little battery cells

bulldozers, backhoes and dumptrucks aren't exactly powered by love either, nor are the tradie trucks driving to the mining sites every day
