Do you think travel becomes overrated eventually?

Any serial travelers here?

I'm debating whether to continue living in NYC for another year, or move somewhere cheaper and travel 2 weeks every month.

I've been to Europe for 3 weeks but didn't fully explore each place since I was in a bit of a rush. 2 weeks in each spot seems like a nice trip, and not too pricey.
