Democrats move to EXPAND Supreme Court after Trump immunity ruling

In a statement responding to the court's ruling, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries said House Democrats "will engage in aggressive oversight and legislative activity with respect to the Supreme Court."

The aim will be to "ensure that the extreme, far-right justices in the majority are brought into compliance with the Constitution," he said.

Fully support this even if it won't happen. We're at a point now where we have an extremist court and things need to change. The good news is,expanding the court is quite literally the type of checks and balances response the founding fathers built into our form of government to hold other branches in check and accountable.

Article III, section I of the U.S. Constitution

The judicial Power of the United States, shall be vested in one supreme Court, and in such inferior Courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish. The Judges, both of the supreme and inferior Courts, shall hold their Offices duringgood Behaviour, and shall, at stated Times, receive for their Services, a Compensation, which shall not be diminished during their Continuance in Office.
