Yet another Sweet baby Inc studio forced to layoff devs after game flops HARD

Yet another Sweet baby Inc studio forced to layoff devs after game flops HARD

-Dinger metroidvania game version of POP led by guy who played Bayek in AC Origins
-Devs/cast call gamers evil racists for predicting SBI will kill them
-Devs put game on sale just one month after release as literally nobody plays it
-Game peaks at only 232 players on steam lol
-Gamers dab online at the predictable outcome
-It's over
Why would anyone, but especially a tiny indie studio, spend money on Sweet Baby Inc at this point?

The gaming industry has been brutal lately. It isn't uncommon for me to spot big new releases being heavily discounted shortly after they release, like only a month later or something. Usual suspects keep acting like things have never been better, but the layoffs say otherwise.
