Sounds like they're piggybacking and trying to take credit for what was already happening. Grocery prices have already been stable in 2024, after the vast runup prior.

How could the issue be price gouging when the Biden administration's policies drove up the costs to where the prices had to go up in order for food makers to remain profitable?

This reminds me of Newsom trying to blame price gouging for California gas prices when it's the result of his gas tax and fiscal policy. Most gas stations can barely make any profit.

Literally what democrats do:
-enact policy and legislation to drive up costs
