Single 40 year old brah: Needs life saving surgery, or surgery to prevent cancer 5 - 10 years down the road.

Hospital: Demands you have someone to sit there for you all day during surgery as a ride home, won't let you cab, uber, or let you stay 1 night to recovery properly to leave on your own. Won't let you leave on your own even if it was a surgery requiring an overnight hospital stay for recovery.

Single brah: "But I have no wife, my parents are too old/dead to help me, and my kids are too young to help me with it. Please let me hire an uber or cab to take me home so I can get the surgery."

Hopsital: "Nope, tough chit, no surgery for you because no ride, you get to go home and die 30+ years prematurely."



Society: "Single men die because they are so miserably lonely from not having a nagging wife around them for 50+ years straight!"
