My boots are good to go because boots are already high up so adding an orthotic insole (1/4th inch boost) gives enough of a boost. I think adding 1 to 1.5 inches over regular shoes is the optimal amount to add. Adding too much isn't good because shoes come off eventually when girls come over and you don't want to noticeably shrink.

Converse have thin bottoms though so more of a boost is needed. Air Force Ones are a bit above average but still not as thick as boots and may need more of a boost, my main beef with them is that I want the mid tops which are a bitch to get on.

I found these premade canvas sneakers but 2.36 inches may be too much of a boost, plus it's expensive and branded.
