went full retard…

Finally a home owner at 41. Paid all cash. I felt comfortable and still have enough savings for a rainy day but most people are telling me that I fukked up and should have kept my money invested. I just hate debt.

Mortgage payments are deductible. You'd been better off taking it, getting as good as interest rates as you could swing (which, nowadays -- not so great, so maybe your cash up front decision wasn't that bad), but in the past....

- Get low rate
- Write off the interest payments
- All the extra money, if there was some, invested and making more money
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.
