Anyone break their wrist or vertabrae before?

How long before you could get back to lifting with each? Been about 7 weeks and surprisingly my back feels better than my wrist, like I feel my back could handle lifting some light weight at least but I am afraid to because of my wrist which still hurts if I bend it.
