My mom passed away

July 6, 2024 at 7 am
in the early morning , she woke me up saying that she felt like she had gas and it was really making her uncomfortable to sleep. . it felt like to her like when you wanna burp but can get it to pass. i found a bottle of gas relief in one of her drawers, she took it and she waited to see if it would help. about an hour later she told me to rub some something called arnica on her back so i did. a little while after she told me to call my cousin who was her aide and would run errands with her, take her to her appts, etc. i called her and told her what was going on. she said she was on her way, about 5 minutes later she told me she couldn't deal with the feeling any more so i called 911. the paramedics came quickly. they rushed her to the hospital, when I got the the dr said she had suffered a heart attack and possible stroke, she was diabetic. dr said he was gonna try to do somethings to keep the body from inflammation , but a half hour later, she was pronounce dead. I feel lost man its the hardest thing i've dealt with and Ive been through some stuff. This Monday I pick up the ashes from the Mortuary, July 22nd. On my bday.

at least you were there for her, you did what you could in the moment, and you called 911 quickly.

So sorry. Take some time to remember some of your favorite stories involving her. When we pass down stories of the ones we lost, they are never really lost.

Been there done that. I know boy, it hurts. Sounds like you were a really good son. You smacked it boy, you did right by her in the end. The pain will ease up quite a bit over time.

Damn, your mom was hard as hell.

My condolences.

Live your life in a way that would make your mother proud.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.
