Biggest diff between "successful" and those who struggle

Is simply their level of organization and cleanliness.

So there is this Bank of America by my place thats pretty much in the chitty area of town. Well, whenever I go to deposit money at this place, my cash almost always get denied due to it being crease or folded(even just slightly). You have to try several different times for the machine to accept your money.

It got me thinking, simply the act of keeping your cash organized and neat inside your wallet, alot of poor people can't even do that. Here in this scenario it literally fks up the money counting machine. In the higher income areas, I don't recall having this trouble with the machines.

If you want to be succesful in life, you have to learn the skill of organization. Even the software(games, programming etc) you use is all based on high tier organizing.

In restaurants and houses people struggle due to being messy, cluttery, and dirty. It invites in pest and cluttered thinking.

Are you saying that you're poor brah?

Edit: strong username to thread. What number is this theory?
The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

... so you're able to extract wisdom and learn a life lesson from an ATM that's too picky about the bills it accepts...? Since it's in a ****ty area, it could just be an older style ATM or something. I'm sure there are reasons beyond "poor people tryna swindle us at the bank keep folding dey dollaz"

but I think the bigger difference between successful people and people who struggle is effort; hard work and opportunity knocking. Unsuccessful people rarely are willing to roll up their sleeves, put in the effort and make all the sacrifices.

No, it boils down to stupid vs smart. Unfortunately, most stupid people think they’re smart because they’re too stupid to do any sort of self reflecting so they make up excuses like you’re doing right now.

Bank of America is a multi billion dollar company and they have to stay on top of their machines and IT infrastructure. They don't let stuff like this slip up. For this machine to be constantly struggling means that the people who frequent this place have more creases or dirt in their money.

I think you're underestimating the ability to think clearly. When you can think more clearly, youre able to see the infrastructure of your life and then fortify the areas of most importance to help you at least become middle class instead of sleeping on the streetz.

I normally hate OP's posts but I think this thread is pretty accurate. It's well known that executive function (part of which is organization) is a big predictor of success in life.

I think the ATMs just being older and outdated is a more feasible explanation than "the ghetto ATMs are designed differently to account for the low income savages" and it was also an inference on your part that poor people must not be taking care of their cash properly and rich people somehow see more value in crisp, clean bills. Money is money to whomever has it.

For what it's worth the bank I use the equipment they use really boils down to which branch. Some branches are more modern while others are likely due for some updates. You don't need to be a billion dollar bank to finance new ATMs; it just boils down to how the branch is managed.

You're overlooking the fact that simply tending your bills requires effort. And it starts with an organization mindset(which is a skill). Each time you use cash, you can either stuff it into your pockets very quickly(or) you tend it and neatly place it inside your wallet. And if you don't tend your cash, it can quickly crease and fold, much like how quickly a knot folds itself with long extension cords.

And again, BOA atm machines are no joke. They have to make sure that it works 100% of the time since its an automated system, whereas if you have an actual tender(you have to pay for that service). It explains it perfectly why this atm machine always have trouble(since its literally in the lower income area of town).

The issue is, it expects literally perfect bills. Even if its a tiny small corner crease it will reject the bills. You usually see this kind of stuff at run downed self serve cash washes with coin machines who don't service their machines.

i don't know what the stats are but i'd think the vast majority of people with money come from money to some extent...and all the advantages/luxuries that provides. for example if your parents are hard working factory workers success might just be breaking into lower middle class. if your parents are wealthy they can sorta make you successful at least on the level they are. take over the family business and/or inheritance plus connections.

When I worked as a cashier, cash control would reject your till if you didn't turn it in with all the bills facing the same way.
