Back in the day saw Van Halen with david lee roth and they were fantastic, great show, tons of energy.

Also saw Sammy twice when he was just sammy hagar and he put on probably the best show both times I have ever seen, true rocker, at least back then he was. he had tons of great old school montrose songs he did as well and just blew the roof off the place.

I always thought he was way better solo than with van halen.
