Why does every movie suck nowadays (srs)

It's either a remake or a sequel that's a money grab and they're all horrible.

Why are there no good , original movies anymore?

I haven't been to the movies in like 10+ years.

Have you noticed that there are 0 mainstream actresses who are as hot as Katy Marioni, Alyssa Kulani, Summer Soderstrom, etc? Challahwood at its finest.

I think Hollywood is broken.

The Coen Brother's No Country for Old Men (2007) was probably the last true masterpiece.

Nolan's Interstellar (2014) was very good, but can't really think of many other titles of note beyond the year 2000.

Matt Damon nailed it a few years ago, essentially DVD's allowed cool movies to be made. Since the disappearance of DVD's movies must be tailored into making money in movie theatres only, which really limits creativity and the sorts of films that can be made.

Its DEI.

Everything from creative to administration there has been a massive push for DEI. Women, homos, blacks, minority groups, etc. Its committee type approach to the production of everything. Merit is gone.

Movies are chit for the same reason planes are falling out of the sky.

Millennials and Zoomers lack attention spans and they are unfortunately the current target audiences of comsoomption.
Combine that with creative outside the box artists being replaced by NPC's in the name of DEI.

Movies are worse, tv series are better. Problem is series just get dragged out to keep things going.

I liked The Beekeeper a lot, generic Statham movie but good action.
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.

-Writers with no life experience
- Snarky ‘Friends’ style dialogue everywhere
-Bland actors (looks & personality)
-CGI
-Too much diversity (white ppl are nicer to look at & more relatable)
- Miserable, grimy, dark photography, can barely make anything out
