What happens to all the money people bet on Biden being the next POTUS?

Does it all disappear? In that case I'd be pissed. Or does it the money wagered transfer to the next dem candidate?

In this case I believe the money would disappear.

Most books would credit you a refund in the form of a gambling credit. So your $100 would be refunded to be used to gamble with, but not available for cash out.

I lost $1k in the 2020 election, and actually was refunded the entire $1k as a site credit lol. I guess the book makers also thought it was rigged.

Real answer: 10% of it goes into the bookies pockets, the other 90% goes to the people who bet on Trump or whoever else wins the presidency i.e. Kamala Harris or Michelle Obama with 500:1 odds

if that the case my motivation for cheering on/campaigning for someone else in the same party would crater.
