English brahs, recommend me a british tv show with meadows and trees

preferably a tv show from the late 70s or mid/late 80s..... comedy genre ... but it has to be shot in a green area with trees and greenery ...something similar to "The black adder"

Midsomer Murders-the ones with Jim Bergerac in, not the David Cameron lookalike who replaced him.

I use this site for downloading-the streaming speed is generally poor & I am not in a great area for broadband speeds as it is-you might have better luck streaming. Most seasons are here & in good quality-but the show wasn't really worth watching this century after Bill Owen who played Compo-the funniest character & was the star of the show passed on in 1999. Best era was the 1970's to the mid 1980's, with Brian Wilde as Foggy in his original run.

I thought that british metal detecting tv show was really good, and "cute" show.

Good shout on the Dectorists. Well under-rated show.

Last of the Summer wine is Yorkshire dales to the max - bit more rugged if you are wanting hot Meadow Action - but must be HD copies somewhere out there.... longest running sitcom every I believe.

Heartbeat. Think most British people have the theme from it ingrained in our memory.

Make sure it is the original because it has had a woke remake since where they felt the need to make Charlie black lol

For peak British comedy from the 70/80's when zero fuks were given try 'Till Death Us Do Part' and 'In Sickness and in Health' but this is set in London.
