๐ŸŒด๐ŸŒž Movies With Great Scenery โ›ฑ๏ธ๐ŸŒŠ

Just watched"Aloha" (2015).

It's about sky/space, love and family, the location is Hawaii.

I always love movies with beautiful sceneries, especially in Summer.

Any recommendations?

Please don't kill me Kaz, but I would personally recommend The Revenant (2016) with Leo Di Caprio and Tom Hardy.

It was a good film, but when I saw it in the cinema, the one thing that really stood out for me was how amazing the cinematography and nature shots were.

Another obvious recommendation would be Lord of the Rings trilogy since it is shot in the beautiful wilds of New Zealand. I would asssume you've seen it.

Darren Aranofsky's The Fountain has great scenery too as it jumps between three time periods, and The Northman from 2022 had some really cool Viking-era scenery. The scenes at the volcano were really cool.
Back off, Warchild.

Seriously.

I guarantee if gwg77 started the exact same thread Bodhy wouldn't feel so compelled to post in it.

Anyway OP - best scenery for me - Open Range. It's summer but in the old west but the views are outstanding

If you're in the mood for Autumn and can't wait, watch The Trouble with Harry(1955) an underrated gem from Alfred Hitchcock. It has perhaps the most autumnal scenery of any movies I've ever come across.

(skip to 1:53 and watch the first couple of minutes to see for yourself.)

I have it on Blueray, old movies have significantly better cinematography. very amazing art quality scenes in this film.

I think it's the 4th short in The Ballad of Buster Scruggs where there's a gold prospector. It was shot in the mountains of southern Colorado and man it's breathtaking.

This is the only video I could find.
