WFH would probably save my life

I’m so burnt out from work I am struggling to just make it through a single day. I feel I’m teetering dangerously close to something bad happening to me either physically or mentally.

If I could work remotely it would at least lift a massive weight of stress and anxiety off my shoulders while allowing me to keep a steady income to live.

If I keep on going the way I’m going currently I don’t know how much longer I’ll last (ded fkin srs).

Wfh ain't all it's cracked up to be.

I hated being home because I associated it with work. I HAD to leave my hone at 5pm everyday.

It's very isolating, I ended up going to different cafes in the am to break things up.

The upside was not spending money on gas or car repairs, and not spending money on dry cleaning or dumb work clothes.

Is there something preventing you from getting a remote job?

No longer dealing with this bullchit corporate office environment.

No longer listening to these annoying cocksuckers gossip and talk chit about everything and everyone.

No longer having my boss walk up to my desk to distract me as soon as I start on something.

No longer sitting in boardroom meetings.

No longer sitting at a depressing windowless beige cubicle.

No longer having nosy people walk by my cube looking over at me every single fkin time they get up.

No longer eating canned food and frozen meals, instead I could cook healthy food.

No longer losing my temper on my commute to the point where I’m ready to blow a gasket.

Then of course saving tons of money on transportation, clothes, etc.

Really just getting more time back to focus on self improvement instead of having my soul sucked out of my body…

Yes it is. I’m a 97th percentile introvert brah. I love being home. Isolation is comforting.

I had a remote job throughout all of Covid. I wish I never had to leave, but I was making $16/hr and unfortunately Biden’s inflation squeezed me out of the best job I ever had. Ever since I started going back into the office in September 2022 my life has been on a downward spiral. I make $25/hr now and no longer live paycheck to paycheck but I have almost never been more unhappy. It gets worse every month.

Yeah. There are none. They shut off the spigot.

I’ve looked all over Indeed and the only remote jobs left are bullchit call center jobs that pay $15/hr, or upper management type positions where you need a fuking masters degree to get your foot in the door. If I want to work remote, I’ll either be starving or just not qualify.

Lmao I’m not tough at all. If I were a real man I would’ve become a tradie like my dad and all my friends srs.

But I will say as much as I hate work, I’ve never NOT worked in my entire adult life. I have only had 5 jobs, I stick to it when I make a commitment. I know some people who have been perfectly fine to NEET it up or quit the first time they have a bad day. I don’t know how to do anything but work. There’s no other tools in my toolbox to make money. Gotta do what you gotta do… I just can’t wait until I turn 65 so I can retire (super ded fkin srs).

Go get some 2 year computer science degree and get a remote help desk job and start climbing up. It’ll help in the longterm, and also help in the short term because you’ll see a light at the end of the tunnel and feel better about the fact your actually taking control of things.

Trades are more respectable than pretend white collar jobs.

If you graduated from Princeton and do physics research, fine. Otherwise, no one wants your bs reports.

Andrew Tate was right about men like OP.

Paraphrasing:

"You're not truly uncomfortable at your job, and I'll explain: If I told you to lay down on these burning hot coals, you'd desperately try to get off the coals immediately. Why? Because it's painful, you're uncomfortable, so you'll do whatever it takes to get as far away from these coals as possible. The fact that you still stay in your current position means you're comfortable. It may not be the ideal situation, be it's comfortable enough for you to tolerate it."

OP b/tches and moans about his job every 2 days but doesn't do a damn thing to change his situation because he's comfortable in his current spot.

Heads up: "Comfortable" is an expensive mistake that will cost you greatly in future years. You had better start making some moves soon, OP, or you'll still be making these same threads 5 years from now.
Everything I post is satire.

I realize how **** most jobs are. I don't love my job but I'm grateful to work in the industry I'm in. Most coworkers are based and most are men or Tom boys. They are not PC at all and you can say almost anything there and be ok. I would lose my **** in a corporate office

You mentioned your occupation causes anxiety....have you ever tested your test levels? Srs, vry srs. I've heard guys had their anxiety that they thought was caused by external factors by blasting T and lifting weights.
